
The Problem
As the art world continues to change and adapt to the influences of social media, the primary concern was to find innovative methods to use social media to market auctions to both existing members and the community at large. In addition, I was tasked with exploring how Sotheby's could use social media to enable smaller-scale collectors to gain access to auctions that they would otherwise be excluded from.
My Role
As a Digital Designer in the in-house Sotheby's Creative Marketing team, I collaborate with Art Directors, Marketing Managers, and other Digital Designers to produce digital ad campaigns for auctions and collections. The type of work included in the campaigns ranged from Asian, American, and European Art to Contemporary and Impressionist collections from world renown artists like Jean Michel Basquiat, Pablo Picasso, Jackson Pollock, among many others.

















Limitations
Maintain and work within Sotheby’s brand guidelines. Fast turnaround since auctions would occur twice a week.
