Framed through the Back in the NY Groove concept, the video spot pairs elite player action with the raw grit and energy of New York City. Dynamic motion and ESPN’s updated brand palette reinforce the pace, intensity, and attitude of the US Open on ESPN.
A modular system of creative versions was developed to support multiple player narratives, including evergreen key art with and without talent; “Big Three” executions featuring Coco Gauff, Jannik Sinner, and Carlos Alcaraz; and individual player spotlights for Alcaraz, Gauff, Novak Djokovic, Ben Shelton, and Jannik Sinner.
