On top of Spotify covers designed for playlists that The Orchard's artists were are part of, I also designed web skins, social media posts, and other marketing deliverables that live digitally

Skin created for The Glitch Mob

Animated IG posts for different artists

I also had the opportunity to design for The Orchard's Films which translated to display, social, web, and OOH promotions in NYC and LA
After 3 years working as a Graphic Designer, and working diligently to get into UX design, I got promoted to Product Designer for the company. This was a great opportunity for me to apply my new knowledge to working with other product designers for the new refresh of The Orchard's website

Old website pre-2016

Refreshed website 2017

The Problem
The previous website did not provide a clear narrative of what The Orchard's mission and goals are. It was designed without user research or outreach. It provided users with disorganized content, images that did not provide context, fresh content that was not readily accessible, and an overall lack of human connection.
My Role
I worked closely with stakeholders, product and interactive design teams, and developers. I conducted research on potential user personas, commonalities between competitors, and brand preception between employees and stakeholders. I also created the research driven infographics, initial layouts for all pages of the website and final designs for the film and tech pages.
Limitations
There were limited resources to guide the project including an insufficient style guide that established a vision for the company. There was no repository of images that captured workplace culture that could be used for the site. There was also a short timeframe since the project began May of 2016 and had to launched to the entire company by January of 2017.
